Who we are
PoorDesigners is an editorial site. We publish articles and do not run a store, ads, or an email newsletter. Reader accounts and public comments are not enabled.
What comes to us and how
We do not collect personal data through forms on the site. Information reaches us in these ways:
- Email you send to us. When you write to one of our published addresses, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and attachments, and technical headers supplied by your mail system.
- Server and CDN logs. Our hosting and content delivery network keep standard logs generated by your browser’s requests, such as IP address, user agent, the URL requested, referrer, and the time of access. These logs are used to keep the site reliable and secure.
- Administrator cookies. WordPress sets session cookies only for the site’s logged-in administrator. Regular visitors do not receive login cookies from us.
How we use this information
We use the information we have to publish and maintain the site, answer correspondence, diagnose issues, defend against abuse, and meet legal obligations. If you pitch a story or send materials by email, we will use what you send for editorial review and, if applicable, for publication discussions with you.
